Brandon is an alumnus of the SCCJ PhD program. He is a former police officer, and he received his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University in 2016. His research is focused on evidence-based policing, use of force, and disparities. Since August 2022, he has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice at UTSA.
